These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”, “Agreement”) govern the use of the e-commerce platform operated under the domain www.youthlabs.eu (the “Website”) and regulate the contractual relationship between Pexmed s. r. o. (the “Seller”) and any natural or legal person who places an order through the Website (the “Buyer”, “Customer”, or “Consumer”).

Article I – Definitions

Seller: Pexmed s. r. o., a company incorporated under the laws of the Slovak Republic, acting in its own name and on its own account.

Consumer: A natural person purchasing Goods outside the scope of business or professional activity.

Website / E-shop: The online sales platform operated by the Seller at www.youthlabs.eu.

Goods / Products: Chemical compounds supplied exclusively for laboratory research and development purposes. Products are not approved as food, dietary supplements, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, or medical devices, and are not intended for human or animal use.

Order: An electronic order submitted by the Buyer via the Website.

Price: The total price payable for the Goods, including applicable taxes, excluding shipping unless stated otherwise.

Terms: These Terms and Conditions governing purchases via the Website.

Article II – Scope of Application

1. These Terms apply to all purchases of Goods made through the Website.
2. By placing an Order, the Buyer confirms that:
   • they have read and agree to these Terms,
   • they are legally authorized to purchase research chemicals,
   • the Products are intended strictly for research use only.
3. Any deviations from these Terms require written approval from the Seller.

Article III – Ordering Process and Contract Formation

1. Orders are placed by selecting Products, completing billing and shipping details, and submitting the Order with payment obligation.
2. Product descriptions and prices are displayed on the Website and may be corrected prior to acceptance.
3. A binding contract is formed only upon confirmation of the Order by the Seller via email.
4. By placing an Order, the Buyer confirms they are at least 18 years old and legally entitled to purchase research chemicals.
5. Before submitting the Order, the Buyer must explicitly confirm that Products are not intended for human or animal consumption or medical use.

Article IV – Pricing and Payment

1. Prices are displayed in the currency shown at checkout and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
2. Shipping costs are calculated separately during checkout.
3. Accepted payment methods are those displayed on the Website.
4. Payment is considered completed once credited to the Seller’s account.

Article V – Shipping and Delivery

1. Orders are dispatched within the timeframe stated on the Website, unless otherwise specified.
2. Delivery is made to the address provided by the Buyer, who is responsible for its accuracy.
3. For international shipments, the Buyer is responsible for compliance with import laws, customs regulations, duties, and taxes.
4. Risk of loss passes to the Buyer upon handover of the Goods to the carrier.

Article VI – Right of Withdrawal / Returns

1. Due to the nature of the Products, the Buyer acknowledges that the right of withdrawal does not apply.
2. Products are classified as sealed laboratory and chemical materials, and returns are not accepted for hygiene, safety, and integrity reasons.
3. Returns or refunds are granted only in cases of incorrect or damaged Goods caused by the Seller.
4. Any issue must be reported within 48 hours of delivery, with photographic evidence.

Article VII – Research Use & Liability Limitations

1. Products are supplied for research use only and are not approved for consumption, medical, or diagnostic use.
2. The Buyer assumes full responsibility for handling, storage, and use of the Products.
3. The Seller shall not be liable for indirect or consequential damages.
4. Total liability is limited to the purchase price of the affected Product.
5. The Buyer agrees to indemnify the Seller against claims arising from misuse or unlawful use.

Article VIII – Non-Medical Disclaimer

All information provided on the Website is for educational and informational purposes only and does not constitute medical advice or promotion for consumption.

Article IX – Intellectual Property

All content on the Website is the property of the Seller or its licensors. Unauthorized use is prohibited.

Article X – Governing Law and Jurisdiction

1. These Terms are governed by the laws of the Slovak Republic.
2. Any disputes shall be resolved by the competent courts of the Slovak Republic.

Article XI – Final Provisions

If any provision is found invalid, the remaining provisions remain effective.
The Seller may update these Terms at any time.
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between the Seller and the Buyer.
